James Voulakos, Biography
James Voulakos is a professional sales and executive coach.
Whether he’s coaching, training, teaching, managing
people, or managing projects, James finds immense satisfaction
in helping people grow and move forward in their businesses,
careers, and lives. He is an accomplished communicator
who can motivate both individuals and groups to attain
higher levels of performance.
James’ background as a senior manager with more
than 21 years of sales management and marketing experience
enables him to recognize promise in people and businesses.
In his role as a sales and executive coach, James combines
his passion for business strategy with his considerable
relationship-building skills. He is one of the rare individuals
who can rally diverse personalities and groups around
a common vision to get tangible results.
With a demonstrated ability to breathe life into struggling
sales teams and divisions, James is a turnaround specialist.
He has managed and coached teams of sales professionals
during restructuring, introduced entrepreneurial sales
philosophies to Fortune 500 companies, and redesigned
compensation strategies to reflect changes in the strategic
direction of numerous sales organizations—all
in the name of setting and meeting win/win goals.
Through his own wide-ranging business successes, James
has witnessed amazing transformations in individuals
and groups. Today, these experiences fuel the support
he has for the unlimited potential in his coaching clients.
A graduate of the Co-Active Coaching Program at the
Coaches Training Institute, James also holds a Bachelor
of Commerce in Marketing and Finance from McMaster University.
and a Professional Sales Certificate from Seneca College.
In addition to actively participating in many business
associations and ongoing personal and professional development
programs, James is a Professor of Management Studies
in the Faculty of Business at George Brown College and
is a Director on the Board with the International Coaches
Federation GTA chapter.
